Personal Equipment List

Required

■ Complete Official Scout uniform preferred; however minimum required is Official Scout Shirt for your current Scouting position.
     Note: A complete uniform includes the official shirt; official long pants, shorts, skirts, or culottes (long pants are best for this course); olive or blue colored socks (based on the color of your pants); and an official belt. A sample “Uniform Inspection Sheet” can be viewed at www.scouting.org > Volunteer > Forms > just below the Annual Health and Medical Record or click here.
A special neckerchief, slide, and a Wood Badge baseball-type cap will be provided.

■ Shoes or boots
■ Jacket & Rain Gear
■ Cot and foam pads (if desired - Tents will be provided)
■ Bedding (sleeping bag or sheets and blankets of equivalent warmth)
■ Work clothes and shoes for conservation project
■ Pillow
■ Flashlight
■ Pocketknife or multiple tool–type knife (no fixed bladed knives)
■ Medication in labeled containers
■ Toiletries and personal clothing items
■ Towel and washcloth
■ Pens/pencils, notebook
■ Handbook for your Scouting program
■ Camp Chair

Optional
■ Change of shoes
■ Moccasins or camp slippers
■ Shower footwear
■ Sunglasses
■ Religious book(s)
■ Books of camp songs, skits, etc.
■ Camera
■ Dutch Oven (2nd week only)
■ Lantern
■ Ear Plugs
■ Backpack (nice for carrying your gear to and from Activities)
■ Spending Money...you will have the opportunity to donate to the "World Friendship Fund" during course as well as a trading post will be available to purchase Wood Badge memorabilia...ie T-shirt, Jackets, Patches, Pins, etc.  There will also be professional pictures available for purchase if desired.  

Sleeping Arrangements
We have three different options at Scout Hollow, please make sure to indicate which you would prefer on the Personal Resource Questionnaire.

Bunkhouse Cabin:


Tents: We have tents available for you to use (2 per tent)

Camper: You can bring your camper to dry camp (some power is available) at Scout Hollow.
